Well it seems that not a day can go by at the moment without Virgin Voyages teasing us with a little extra reveal. I must admit it’s all very exciting, but it’s also very easy to forget, or miss, some of the updates. So we’ve pulled everything together for you here.
The Ship
Scarlet Lady, Virgin Voyages first cruise ship, will call Miami its home port. She will be able to take up to 2,770 passenger (which are referred to as “sailors” on Virgin Voyages) and 1,160 crew.
Itineraries
Whilst the full list of itineraries has not been announced yet, Virgin Voyages has provided some details, which include:
- 4 & 5 Night “Havana After Dark” sailings to Cuba with overnight stay in Havana
- 5 Night “Mayan Sol“ sailings to Costa Maya, Mexico
- 5 Night “Dominican Daze” itineraries to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

Virgin Voyages Secret Location
Well it wasn’t really a secret for long. When the itineraries were first announced Virgin Voyages again teased us with stops at a ‘Secret Location’ – This turns out to be a Virgin Voyages exclusive ‘Beach Club’ on the island of Bimini.
Deposits, Cancellations and Final Payments
Bookings made with Virgin Voyages require a deposit of 20% of the full cruise fare. You can cancel this for a full refund within 7 days. Any cancellation after 7 days before final payment is due will result in the deposit amount being returned to you in the form of a Future Cruise Credit. Final payment is due 120 days prior to sailing
